Just Waiting Slow

There’s a law and there’s an order
To each hidden interaction
There’s a habit and a method
To repulsion and attraction
There’s the influence of history
It’s quiet accumulation
Culminating in the rumour
Of a moment that’s been waiting…

Waiting slow
Or so it says
It leaves a mark
And so it goes

She’s a history in the making
He’s a chain of incantations
Two recipients, participants
In praise and adulation
With instruction rarely written
Into instinct’s ebb and flow
We leave a mark…
And so it goes

Just waiting slow
And as it said
The moment comes
The moment goes

We’re waiting slow
And so it goes
We cut to dark
We cut to close
